The Scotchman CPO 350NFPKPD cold saw is a 14 "high speed saw that is designed for non-ferrous materials such as aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, PVP pipe, nylon and other synthetic materials. Because of the high spindle speeds (1,500-3000 rpm) the CPO 350 NF PKPD models use carbide blades. This saw and its blades cannot be used to cut any ferrous materials. The high speed of this cold saw is exceptionally suited for extrusions with varying thickness and configurations. The CPO-350 NFPKPD models use an adjustable mist coolant system that delivers the required amount of lubrication to maintain blade life.
The CPO 350 NFPKPD includes a pneumatic power vice which is geared to semi-production applications where uniform sizes of materials are being cut. This power vice reduces clamping times and reduces operator fatigue. The vice clamps automatically when the saw head is drawn down and releases when the head returns..
This cold saw is also fitted with a pneumatic downfeed greatly reducing operator fatigue and increasing blade life by providing a constant down pressure on the work piece. This ooption increases productivity along with the power vice converting a manual cold saw into a semi-automatic saw/
